A Morning of Hands-On Animal Fun

The Gerrard Berman Day School, Solomon Schechter of North Jersey will be hosting Animal Antics, a morning of hands-on animal fun for children ages 3 – 6 on Sunday, October 21 from 10:00 – 11:30 am. The Gerrard Berman Day School is located at 45 Spruce Street, Oakland.

Participants will have an opportunity to learn about different animals from animal experts. Parent or guardian supervision is required.

Q and A: Postpartum Depression

Adjusting to motherhood is a challenging transition and the onset of postpartum depression can happen to anyone. Experts from Gateway Northwest Maternal and Child Health Network will talk about the importance of being aware of the illness, recognizing and identifying early signs and symptoms of the illness, and treatment. There will be a question and answer segment as well. Informational pamphlets and resource materials will be available. This workshop will be extremely helpful for the expectant and new moms.
